I had a fantastic stay at this lodge! The location is amazing, nestled deep in the forest and close to tourist sites. The room was small but clean and comfortable, with a lovely terrace to relax on. The staff, especially Sisira and his family, were kind and welcoming. I was even greeted with a refreshing fresh juice upon arrival. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options including pancakes, fruits, and a Ceylon specialty called Samboossa. The hotel facilities were great, and I could easily rent a bike to explore the nearby village within 5 minutes.
Nothing, it is perfect.

It is conveniently located, close to popular tourist sites, making it easy to explore the area. the rooms are comfortable, with an emphasis on cleanliness. the staff are incredibly hospitable, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. the breakfast provided is delicious, offering a variety of options to suit different tastes.
The wifi connection can be unreliable at times.

During my Christmas stay, the breakfast and the staff were the best aspects of the hotel. the breakfast had a decent variety and the waiters were nice and welcoming. the location was perfect, it was close to the main attractions and easy to navigate. I enjoyed the natural environment that surrounded the lodge and the fresh air that came in through the windows.
The hotel in many ways. the room lacked proper maintenance as the sheets were either torn or stained, and the fan was too weak to endure the hot and humid weather.

The staff was very accommodating and always willing to help with any requests. The room was cleaned daily and the towels were changed regularly. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions.
The lack of air conditioning made the evenings quite warm and uncomfortable. the wifi was unreliable and often slow, which made it difficult to stay connected and get work done.
